 Yesterday Orientation~  Thursday, July 28, 2005
As I sat here poking my laksa, I was reading thru valarie blog and printing some 100pages of modules from NUS. Before I leave,print all I can. Next time printing in campus,tink cost 3cents per page.now print free,why not? My mom was nagging me, dishonest, goup office staff home. But hey, she was thrilled when I brought home a pack of rubberbands that dae lo (-.-)~ mothers~
Anyway, I went for the orientation yesterdae. Anyway, I met a new fren, Eileen there. She is 1984, and from poly. Friendly,nice,not dao and Haughty~ We quite click. Many tings in common. I seem to haf this special bond with those born in the year 1984.hmm~ I was well, going hmm. . .
The bus ride was horrible. 151 non-aircon. Duh~ despite my complains. Duh~ bt anyway guess wad? I m waking up at 5am and setting off latest by 6am so I can reach campus by 7.30am on Monday. Sh*tty. This wad happened when u stay far. But well. So b it. No choice. Better than a lot of ppl, like SomeOne who took round 2hrs. oopz. At least I can stand proud and tel ppl I got direct bus. (sighz~yah, 1hr + journey which stretch from Hougang to Jurong is no joke)
Anyway, as I was excitedly waiting to go to my new place, to rejoin the norms, and be a studying person so that I can blend in, once more. I was equally stressed out. I m leaving the familiar place, familiar ppl, familiar work, and gg somewhere new, new ppl, faces, things. Leaving my comfort zone. Bt well, studying is good. I m grateful.
It is also yesterdae tt I realized that uni these daes are so hi-tech. assignments lectures online. U can bon class if there is web-broadcast of the lecture. Our seniors sae de. And we are taught to be a more all-rounded ppl. Taking courses modules from other schools. So well, good. Bt must chiong and compete for it. For ppl like me who are allocated fewer points than others, muz do the additional step of praying.
With the fixed-old-labtop unable to go online, my new labtop no stock, and his pc ganna virus, I tink I haf to stay back in campus on Monday to chiong bid for my course. Haiz. *Worried*Tink SomeOne will b v super more pissed when he happen to see tis blog. Yah lO~ now I cant even go his hse to bid. Hey,dun worry~ting is i can stil bid. Tings aint tt bad. and well, accidents happen. Human Err. Dun so pissed over spilled milk though u r nt the person who spilled it~
Overall, cool. COOL! Bah~ *cross fingers*
