Juz a short post. Hehe. Today is Public holiday! Rare occasion that I am at home. Haha. Tis week so many holiday, like he say, both us need some private time. I tink his mean of private time means slacking time, to which I agree, we do need some slacking time.
I was a born coach potato. So, yeah. Today! Happy. Slacked whole day at home. Like the good old times some 2yrs ago when my life is only about study, home, watch tv, sleep. Those were the days. I dunno hw to get around spore, much less noe the shopping centre ard. No wonder I had so much money to spare then even though I lived off pocket money much lesser than wad I get now. No go out, no spend money. Got time mean sleep. Got money mean buy cat food. Life was good.
Anyway, I stayed home whole day, if not that I have to bathe my cat, I would have been changing from one PJ to another. Yesh, I m a lazy bum. Hehe.
So lazy, I dun even bother to take a lift downstairs to buy food. I really mean downstairs. Juz get off the lift, take 10steps and I reach the coffee shop. Across the road and there will be a huge canteen and more coffeeshop. So lazy I was.
And dinner, guess wad, I m lazy to buy food. So. I cooked.
After cooking then I feel it is ironic that I am lazy enuf not to go downstairs, but I took the effort to cook. Lol. I mean, hw many ppl would proudly declare they are lazy to cook, so would rather da bao? Haha.
Anyway, the great chef at work. Only cook for myself, so it is one soup and a dish. Soup of the day: Cream of Potato Dish of the day: Elaine s Dofu (Steamed dofu with egg and luncheon meat)
Elaine s dofu looks nice mah? Hehe, I always wan my food to look nicer than it taste (keke) Mayb I shld intro the Elaine s Dofu. It is really nice and easy to make. Haha, my new recipe.
Time for : : : Elaine can Cook so can U : : : How to cook: Ingredients:
1/4 Carrot , 1/4 luncheon meat, 1 egg dofu, 1 egg.
Seasoning: few drops of light soya sauce, Sesame oil, Hua Diao Jiu, white pepper (be stingy on the soya sauce. Elaine is Pro-health de. Eat less salt n soya sauce) Directions: Chop carrot and luncheon meat into dice size. Mash up the dofu using fork. Beat up the egg. Pour most of the egg in, leaving around 1/4 remaining. Mix carrot, luncheon meat, egg and dofu together. Add seasoning and mix well. Flatten the top. Add decorations. Pour the remaining egg on the flat top. Steam for 15mins
There u Have it. Healthy, nice Dofu. Carrot is nice, add it. It will give the dofu a crunchy taste. Nope, it will b too much of the carrot taste. Not much taste, bt the whole combination is nice. Crunchy!
