 Fever...and FOOD~  Wednesday, June 06, 2007
Wasted my weekends away by sleeping sleeping sleeping..Cos I was sick for the whole time...even til now...
On fri, already sickly..but the act-strong-Elaine went ahead and ran all over the place to get tings done...went to Dentist..sidetrack abit*reminded of Little shops of Horrors*
I din noe it wld be so expensive..used to always tke dentist for granted...how at pri. sch and sec. times, we were often summoned to the dentist...Costed me hundred plus tis mth..tt's enuf to do facial twice for me.. :( but well, I'm guilty of not visiting dentist since my last visit to outram..during..jus after my JC times...so...suck thumb accept it and spend less these days lo..
Oh, back to my fever..yes, there is story/stories leading to it..I ran over the place, went bugis help my gf,tingting, den went wisma help her change SE headset..waited 1hr for my turn..duh...-.-"...I was sick by then and actually fell asleep in that public place...and worst, I overslept! When I woke abruptly, my turn is past. I went up to the counter to explain I missed my queue (not daring to shamelessly admit I overslept). Fortunately they helped me.. :D
Anyways, I was so sick I had to eat my panadol..and I din bring..so I bought one box...and ate only two..now I m with a big box of my most detested pills... But surprisingly, 1hr after taking the pills, I m well enuf to go aikido training~WEE~ :D
My burnt up brain is still abit retarded, cos Sensei was asking me firmly, Why I nv go grading tis coming june...I stumped. Den asked myself, yah,why ah? Then seconds later after looking really stunned, I realised I cant cos I haben reached the 'time-limit' required.
After training, went for supper at chompchomp and I feel myself burning up..with fever..but nvm la.. Had spicy Stingray (Peng Hye), spicy kakong, bbq chicken... and tada...I fell v ill on sat... burnt at 38 plus whole of sat..of cos, he had to nurse me...and take all my grumpy and childish request.. I dun take any panadol..no way...jus..sleep..sleep..sleep...
LAter that nite, yep, no doubt.. acupuncture session~ Ouch~ lemme count...one each on the hand, one each at the elbow, one each at the temple of the head, 3 in between my eyebows on my forehead, 3 thick needles at the back of my neck... yep..my fever is gone within 30min... but still..my headache is there..not 仙丹 of cos not heal immediately la...But I m glad I got past tis session of illness without the help of anti-biotics and panadol~ I m happy..but still..sickly..
Me and boss took a cab from our office to Maxwell market to eat lunch on monday..met an ex-colleague there,he said I changed alot..got meh??I still have 2 eyes 1 nose one mouth mah... hmm..but anyway, the cab fare..keke..boss pay...but the ting is... we got on cost $2.50, got off $2.60..wow..anyway, there is 4 of us, so taking a cab is better than taking a bus..
Went there specially for my fave fish soup...sick person mus drink fish soup or fish porridge rite?
But anyway, I had Fish n Chips ytd...Delicious..yea, wondering why my illness nv healed? Yes, fish n chips..the fried and unhealthy meal...
Look at it and u noe why I jus have to blog about it:
Generous serving of fish n chips that the fish is soOOoo Big, it cant fit into the plate..the plate is the usual plate we ate at buffet..figure out the size..not mentioning the price, the taste is incredible..its nicely fried crispy, the fish fresh...and the fries is nice, and it comes with beans AND mashed potato..I have half the mind to eat it again today..oh,oh,not forgetting, there is supposed to be rice...but I asked not to have it..and all of this..at the price of only 5bucks..when everywher else is offering smaller serving at 5bucks, this offers so so much more..and yes, comes with soup too!
TELL me..how NOT TO blog about such delicious food?
