Bloggin used to be a daily, bi-daily thing. Evolved to weekly and possibly monthly?
I guess the lack of active friends in the bloggin world oso makes blogging less fun. Daily checks often gives refreshed but same post over and over again.
Me oso..no updates for a long time...
Firstly, I wanna announce...
I'm going HongKong, Macau, ShenZhen in May-june.. confirmed~ YEAH!!!
Yep, i m gg for ard 1week for studies purposes...well, yap..its a summer programe. Kinda surprised myself that I decided to go for it, and to tink I actually applied alone, den subsequently then ask if any frens wanna go... the tot of me gg alone is pretty freaky..but luckily, I've got friends to go and we already formed a group. Yeah..Loner no more.. yay~
The programes states tt we b visiting Disney land, and 2 casino in macau(for visiting not gambling!!) .. ooh...exciting... Tinking of hw this will beautify my resume next time if i shld wanna go into a job concerning IR excites me..
Good Friday comes and goes... I spent the holiday at a place being drawn on the face.. erh?? Yah, I kinda agreed to help my aunt's friend b her model for their Amway Makeup competition, tinking it is a one-off thing.
I realised its not a one off ting on my first time there when its for a practice session. I've to-date spent like 5-6 practice sessions, including this for Holiday... pretty sad... (fortunately enuf, this smu boy I m dating oso have to go back to sch..and not a surprise, the whole school is crowded with ppl..I tink my sch wld b empty on thurs already..keke...)
But actually, after all the time I've spent, I m getting nothing out of it. No prizes, no nothing I guess... Considering the transport fees to go there...the time spent... sighz..abit very sad hor? True, I learnt free makeup tips, make new friends,got facial to keep my face in good condition for the make up I m actually very concerned about the time spent cos I've alot of projects,reports and stuff on hand that helps keep my 'stress-pimple' consistently decorating my forehead...
And,besides the time...money wise, I m a poor student who works hard to pay for my own phone bills, internet bills, cats' expenditure, my expenditure, school fees... No transport fees nvm le, I...
I actually bought a dress for the competition out of my own pocket... And...the dress aint someting I wear all the time aka buy to wear once that kinda dress..If given a choice, I wont buy it..and Yes, I m already very stingy on buying clothes..hw often do u see me buying clothes? Nearly only once every few month..my last purchase (besides this dress ) is in Jan when I needed some clothes to wear to Taiwan..
I m oso extremely upset by a hairdresser. I now reinforced my thinking that after this everything, no one, I repeat, NO ONE is to touch my hair, besides my usual hair dresser Annie...Cos this auntie hairdresser pulled my hair straight (remember I have curls?) using those fine tooth pointed comb (so she can style it easier) , shaved half of my eyebrow (cos she say its faster to draw brows when brows are shaved, and ALOT of models shaved ALL their eyebrow...note: PLEASE i m no professional models and I go ard without makeup..now that if ALL my brow is shaven, how am I supposed to go out without makeup??)
I m pretty vERY pissed with the auntie hair dresser...
I m oso pretty upset when this auntie hair dresser jus say.. "Oh, I remembered u...u were here for a hair cut during ur grandma's funeral..."... erh, yea... well, not everyone wishes to remise the funeral times...when its all tears and tears...
Oh, ok anyways, enuf of the makeup thing...well, anyway, the competition is this sat..hopefully got pretty pic to showoff so that all this is worth it...
Updates updates, had a rare meetup with my secondary sch days frens, actually, jus the 4 of us, for dinner last sunday. I've consciously or unconsciously avoided alot of meetups...besides nina-gang, I guess alot have been frustrated trying to ask me for outing... Well.. timing are just pretty bad... yes, its jus one day..but if its not on weekday...its really hard... considering I m half-student,half working and dating too...
Hopefully, pictures will come soon so we can all see how we look like some 10years later since we went our separate ways after graduating from XMS.
Chats were the usual how's it going and wad's u doing. Of cos...we're missing in each other's life for so many years... All 3 are already working..and me... well..still a student... Glad for everyone that most of my classmates and old pals have great jobs after graduation. At STB, Maybank, OCBC banks, others in nice gov sectors and stuff... and me..asked what I'll be in future, I dunno how to answer.
It seems to everyone that being in the wad wad?? Real Estate in NUS???!!! (Wad's that)... I dnno wher I'll be when I graduate...
Seriously..nope..wrong...
Its not that I dun answer because I dunno where I'll be, but I dunno wad and how to describe.
Trying to defend my school all this years have revealed that ppl generally have little or no knowledge on wad Real Estate Graduates do.. as do ppl have little knowledge with Maritime studies, Real estate studies are most of the time = graduate become real estate agent..
Well, after 3 years of studies and explaining, I've grown tired of explaining and jus wishes to smile and say dunno... see how at these questions... Because I know wad I m heading to, but which company is a question just yet. But that does not mean I m a headless fly when I graduate. But trying to explain my scope of work is pretty...tedious...and I do not wish to get bored stares when I start explaining what we do here in Real Estate since most of the time ppl dunno, dun care..so well..SMile~ Wonders of smile...
Where I'll be in future? Well, let's just let the future speaks for itself...
For now, i know where my future is... In HK this june hols~ and SZ, And macau...hooohhoooo holidays here I come!!!
