 Ear Candling: NO NO!  Tuesday, December 02, 2008
Went for ear candling today as I went for my usual face threading.
It was like... O.o..
Again, they tried to physco me into signing package, bt being the usual experienced consumer, I din fall for it tis time.
Ear Candling. It is said to be having some ancient history behind it, said to help in hearing, cleanse the ear of ear wax and stuff via the difference in pressure and stuff, but quick browse at google revealed noting.
I was keen to try cos its quite cheap, plus they throw in a shoulder massage. Having completed my exam today, I shld reward myself abit?
Fact is, its nt totally enjoyable. I was half 忍-ing half squirming away as she fuss away on my ears... I guess I m really nt used to ppl touching my ears...feels soooOOoo itchy..issit supposed to be so? Or I m jus sensitive? Cos I feel like...eeeks...so itchy at my ears whenever she touch my ears...I m really so like... (>,<)!!! so at the end of it, I felt rather tensed...which defeats the purpose of me doing ear candling,which was supposed to make me relaxed...
So, I concluded, ear candling is definately not for me.
However, nevertheless, I was surprised she managed to pin point to say that one of my ear is more clogged than the other..and tt clogged one she says, is the one tt was experiencing Tinnitus the last time..hmm..did it really worked?
Ahhh, heck..Ear candling is nt for me..cannot tahan another person touching my ears..keke...
