While it's still fresh in my memory.

My princess jennah is born after hours of labour.

Apparently I was having contraction already but only dilated at 1.5cm in the morning. Dr checked and monitor the heartbeat and say I m supposed to have got Contraction. Ask me have ornt. I say no have leh. Wad it feels like.

So as he was checking me again. Suddenly my water burst. And he say, OK, see u at hospital. Reach there by 2pm OK.

So to prevent Elvin from getting scolded left right centre. I drove home instead of straight to hospital.  Waited for him to send me to hospital. Having regular contractions but it's not painful.

Very demoralised lo. At like 5plus still only 2-3cm. Next door neighbor screaming for epidural liao.. Demoralised...

At 6plus finally Dr ang came along and say let's speed things up. Put me on drip. But water cold not drip through and I din open much either.  By 8plus...den they change to re-prick my right hand to get blood n put drip.

That's when the fun starts. It got intense but manageable at 5cm.i m like.. Agh.. 9plus and halfway there only?  Dr ang however was quite  pleased he say will b out by today midnight or tml.

Another two more hours pass.. Got a bit more intense but still OK.
Feel look menses cramp. They ask me pain how much.. I say well.. 4-5 outta 10..they were quite shocked..

No one taught me to use gas.. So I din use it.. I was scaring myself not to use epidural Anw.. So I din have it either.. Music n breathing helps so much. It was short surges.. Before u know it, it's gone.

Every time there is the cramps I will breathe deeply and recite my baby name.. Jennah jennah . And somehow it will feel better lighter no pain, just pressure.. Rolling and waves kinda pressure going over the shore . my eyes were closed listening to the music and water running sound and smelling the fragrance all around. 

Believe or not, I was using essential oil very  largely.  Clary sage the womb tonic and frankincense. Late stage I only prefer frankincense cos it smells nice n holy... 

At about eleven plus?  They decided to get me I to the delivery ward. Which was good cos the Contraction got a bit stronger..

Even Contraction made like a strong pressure on the butt like u need to poop. But when u try to poop. U will bleed like water. Yea I know cos I tried.

They say cervix open until 6-7cm,cannot push. If not will bleed from the inside . Omg. Scary enuf..

But fortunately, music n frankincense smells good enuf. My eyes were closed this whole time.. Me thinking of the breathing..

They made me inhale oxygen, say it's not gas. Just pure oxygen. Sucks lo. When I have Contraction. I can't breathe la. Much less breathe on that cover..

So the Contraction then was pretty bad. Had to poop but can't push cos scared to bleed.  Pressure on butt was almost unbearable. .

I was so relived when finally they set up stuff and say I can push if I wan to. Yeah!!  Then I realised, not so easy leh. Quite a sharp pain like a big chunk of constipated poop that u dunno will b how big.

Nurse ask me to push twice before doc came. One of the most shiok part lo cos can finally push. Den doc came. He is a better guide. He say push and count to ten. Which give me a better guideline n goal.

He was surprised to see me cos he day, wow.. First time see ppl still can smile. Not pain meh. I say pain.. When there is Contraction. But it's just over. Apparently can see the head Le. So within 5min he was there. I had like 2-3contraction... Den he say push n hold for ten seconds. And somehow. During this period hard him snip n cut and walla. Jennah is out =)

Not that bad as I though.. Epidural.. Can don't need.. We can do it!!
