Been really busy these days, training, tests, exams. Gg to my aikido grading tis round, need some many lessons. So, I m gg training on sat, mon, tues, thurs, fri. -.-"" ?? yea...2 weeks of intensive training before I have enough attendance to register for my grading... Brown belt brown belt here I come...
I jus got another tuition assignment. Teaching english to a sec4 kid. My pri-sch kid is having holiday,no tuition. Dunno whether his mom is tinkin of kickin me nt. Well, I m nt tt kinda old experience miricale-creating tutors..I m nt surprised if she does 'kick' me... Bt I have tis new kid to teach, nt bad la.
Hey, jus sunday, I met with someting dangerous, nt advisable to do, yet nice. I m kinda lost on my mission to find my new tuition kid's hse. I looked at the map, bt got looked at the wrong bridge. Well, anyway, I m kinda lost, and I asked for directions from a guy who was washing his car. And, not only did he tell me how and wher to go, he gave me a lift to near the place so I walked less. Oh my, he's really a nice guy. He was like, in the middle of washing the car, and he jus, helped me, a stranger, find my way around. Hw many wld help a stranger to tis extent?
I know, it's dangerous to get onto a stranger's car, mayb coz I m martial-arts-trained, I haf more guts, or tt guy jus look innocent n nice enuf, or the fact tt it is I who approached him, I trust him. Bt hey, come to tink of it, its kinda dangerous huh? Bt really, it's really nice of him to help tis stranger out.
Have I mentioned? Oh, yah, my new job. Well, nt exactly my job yet.Coz I m not contracted. Tis job, not say u wanna join den can join. Coz there is alot alot of tings to do and pass and learn before can actually get it. No kiddin...

I m currently learning and tryin to b an Insurance Advisor.
Do I see more frowns? Or ppl trying makin plans to shun away from me for fear I mite open mouth close mouth pyscho bout insurance? Well...dun haf to la, if u intending to..coz..
For one, I m nt contracted yet. (means I cant start selling yet)
For two, I wont force ppl to buy insurance.
My concerns before I decided to join is, will my friends run away from me at first sight coz I m an Insurance Advisor (IA) now? Well, the senior who recruited me say he gt the same worries, bt nt a issue soon, coz even if friends dun buy insurance from u, if u treat them like friends, friends will still b friends. and, in the course of work, u get to meet ppl. And he treats clients like friends and recommend them the products tt he wld to a friend, so actually, is making more friends? yea, sounds logical enuf.
Bt well, in any case, Friends will always b ur friends no matter who u are, wad u do...rite? Wad's so shameful bout being an IA, and why do I need to b so discrete about it? I m nt stealing nor robbing. I m jus, working.
Anyway, I decided to blog on tis, besides the fact tt I m trying to promote myself...in case any is indeed interested in buying insurance, bt also, kinda for myself to c myself thru tis path of my life.
Tis line is tough, nt easy. Besides tt 120questions test tt I blogged on earlier. I went thru a 5day intesive training last week, and at the end of the 4 days, 5th day was used to conduct 2 test. Gosh. tests after tests... Fortunately, I passed both.... *yippee*.... And...not to b too happy yet, there is another test tis coming wed.
So u can see, selling insurance these days is not jus about learning how to humour birds off trees, but it is a whole lot of effort, requiring lots of knowledge, time, effort, energy...etc etc. Even though I have to-date passed 3 exams, there is still 2 pending, and training, and 2 other trainings to attend, before I m qualified to start selling.
I m nt saying tis jus b'coz I m in tis line, bt days have changed. Requirements to start selling insurance is different now. They keep drilling into us "Please sell needs of clients, not a policy tt offer more commission". Means wad? We only sell wad the client needs to protect themselves, nt what offers more commission for us.
In practice, I dunno hw many really take tis into consideration when marketing a policy, bt with all the strict guidelines tt are required, and ppl breathing down our neck, its kinda really hard to cheat ur way thru...at least tis is wad I feel...coz I m really convinced tt, there is no way u can cheat a client into gettin someting tt gives u more commission bt not wad is totally necessary for them, judging from the many rules and regulations and stuff...
In short, If u are ever interested in gettin an insurance policy, do look me up..coz i m nt out to rip ur wallets, I m out to sell insurance tt u need... *wide smile* HEE~
In a nutshell,I m nw currently an undergrad - cum - tutor- cum - part-time Insurance Advisor(to be)- aikdoka....which means..I m d*mn busy...sucks...life jus flies... haiz...
