It was pretty dramatic today...
Let me start the story from yesterday. While I am watchin "Just My Luck" with SomeOne in the afternoon...apparently slacking on a un-beneficial day...My phone ring with an SMS... normal... wad was surpringing was that the sms is from a number whose name is not saved in my phone. ok...so? so it shld b from...EEEKS!!! My clients...wow...
indeed...it is... And guess wad... He is the Doctor whom I surveyed at SGH, whom i tot got no chance to followup coz I contact him, his response is pretty negative. -Surprised-He actually asked me to take over his policy... WOW! does nt mean much, coz we dun get commission from there, but a client means a client. coz if u are good, they would refer friends to you, or, buy future policies from you. :D
Back to today... I m due to meet him this morning at his office at 10am. To meet him, I dressed up in formal wear. Coz ppl is Doctor at SGH, how can wear jeans and talk business rite? Anyway, he told me to b there at 10am, Block 9 at SGH. Went there promptly. looked for the directory. It started gettin dark...
And... Lightning Flashed... Rain Poured furiously like buckets of water splashing at you like you are on the ride at Wild Wild Wet. Wind Blew mercilessly.
I realised.
I realised... that... block 9 at SGH is...

Mortuary....

I was wondering...did he play me out? Aint he a doc at SGH? Why the mortuary? Isnt it supposed to b a office tower? a mortuary?
Rain poured... Lightning flashed.. Wind Blew..
In my mind... those opera music sounded... violin played on... I feel cheated and played out... Shld I? Or shld I jus leave? Did i jus dressed up so nicely to be played out? Mortuary leh... at this kinda month also...
Finally, I plucked up the couraged and sms-ed the client... He directed me to his office... true enuf... it is at the mortuary... except it is on the 2nd storey..and he is with the dept of pathology...
Phew... Worth it... settled the paperwork.... :)
If tis is an orphan policy and he have not signed the form to transfer from the old (already quitted) adviser to the new adviser... by signning that form means i get the remaining commission...wooOoooooh...
Bt anyway... i m jus kinda glad I din get played out. It is not fun to be played a prank on at the mortuary on this month... And I jus hope to take over this policy and see what I can do about it.. My first cold market client... :)
