 Moment of Silence...  Wednesday, September 06, 2006
I was all so excited about the roadshow I have been.
Later did I realised that there is a tragic accident that took place while I lost track with news and happenings around us.
Steve Irwin was killed in a freak accident. Actually learnt bout this not from a newspaper, but from nina's blog...
But anyway, I really do love his show... How I used to tune in attentively to his "Crocodile Hunter, Croc Files"... with him and his brown dog... and his wife.. I do remember how he have bravely picked up poisonous snake like a piece of rope... how he masked crocodiles with bare hands... how he tried to untangle shark trapped in a discarded fishing net, and his experience with tortoise laying eggs right before his eyes...
The news shocked me. And I learnt bout it right there and then when I m in the middle of a lecture... and needless to say, I could not concentrate...
Here is a moment silence observed, in memory of the great Crocodile Hunter...Steve Irwin....
