Lantern Blading

As I was telling them, tis yr, I m really quite traditional leh. Firstly, I started the CNY by wearing a nice cheongsum...and oso further wore it for tt so called beauty contest. I also added a new item to my jade necklace collection and wears my jade necklace even more tis yr (more than my other necklace, beside the pearl necklace). And finally, I m attending tis kinda traditional festivals...

Yep, went lantern festival tis year. And like when we were young, bring paper lantern and light them with candle and walk/blade ard.

Yesterday, I was casually telling turtle I was bored, she says she is too. And wahla, we have a date. To go east coast park. Lantern blading wasnt in our mind then. We jus wanna go mac there change shoes. Then...spotted the familiar tis:

Remember when we were young and we were painting these at Marina there? So naturally, me and turtle were so attracted to it, blading jus have to wait.

In memory of the frog she ran over the last time.

While there, we were reminded that hey, today is lantern Festival, so we decided, let's buy a lantern later and go Lantern blading. And we did.

Bladed to eat at the hawker centre there. Dated someone to come lantern blading too but got rejected. So sad. So so sad that while eating our dinner...sad til tears roll down... horr turtle? She say see le feel lik capturing on camera...my *blink blink* teary eyes...

We oso bought sparks...Its really pretty...I remember when we were kids, we used to play it. But very very little chance. Cos they were 'expensive'. So they only bought like one box for all the kids and everyone can only play 1-2.

So me and turtle we like, so enjoying ourselves, burning them like no one's biz. cos we bought 6packs~ Weee....
