A question suddenly pop up in my mind...
"Have you bought something pretty expensive wich cant be used much, and U dunno wad to do with it except let it hang there looking pretty?"
Previously, my answer wld b of cos not! But now..hmm...oops, I had to say yes.
I noticed my sis's dismay look as I drag it out of my buggage and say, HEY LOOK! And den true..I realised later on that i have spent quite a little significant amount of money on something....that I dunno hw to use, when to use..oops..

mEow is finally safely home.
But since I touched down, been busy til now.
I smartly invited my sec-sch fren over to my hse for a steamboat xmas day celebration. but totally enjoyed it. I always loved it. but really drainin cos I din sleep much and rested at all.
Gg compasspoint tml to buy my nalgene bottle, and den gg blading.Again a no rest day. wow. Anyway, I really gained 3kg while in japan.shitted..needa exercise more and eat less liaoz...
Wanted to blog and post the photos, but stil copying them from the card to the comp.
So jus do a short summary,

happy mEow day Monday, December 22, 2008
Today is a freezing mEow day.
mEow went climb mountain. Ok, nt climb, rather, mayb considered as hiking, again. Walked thru some paths of the forest before venturing onto the human pavement.
Its ard an hr of intensive upwards slope. And finally, we reached there. Expecting to see noting but empty hill, we were like O.o... it is like ... WOW when we saw a big shrine in there...OK...shrine on a mountain top, sounds reasonable.
Stepping thru the shrine, we realised.... WOW!!! like scene in 'spirited away', it is a total different world beyond the shrine area. Its a little town by itself, surrounded by bus station, food stall and souvenior shop. Best part, even have insect world and aquarium!
WOW!
Ok, it is freaking cold up there when the wind blows. And finally, the windbreaker comes in handy.I m wearin a long sleeve turtle neck with a long sleeve wool shirt as base, and wearing a cotton jacket and another silk material jacket normally, but today, I added on a windbreaker..
Warm enuf, but my fingers were freezing. I m literally battling against the wind to have nice shots taken. Risky havin frost-bite on my fingers. Hmm..I hope those wounds on my fingers are mere scratches, not from frost-bite or overdried fingers.
Anyway, it is a relaxing nice mountain climb. But it is eye opener, cos we totally wasnt expecting civiliasation up there. We were checkin out food supply before embarking on our upwards journey but guess wad, it is full of human civilisation there...ermm..hmm..shld we b glad?
Ok, about Happy mEow day, mEow is super happy cos I saw a nekko today. And I said hi, and she loves me. And so I fed her, and her bf.
Remember a few days ago I was saying I m happy when I see cats? The cat on the bike? Yep, its her again. I have better memory for recongising cats than human, (sorry!), but yea...
And she Meowed at me..I was like,..hmm..shld I say hi there kitty, or say, meow mEow! or say, nekko,nekkO!!!
Anyway, she is so tame. when u stroke her head, she will jump up with two hands in the air. so that her head will be closer to u..and those long fur and long tail, hw to resist tt kinda seduction. I spent 188yen to buy a cat treat for her. And when I was about to feed her as I step out of the 7-11, I saw her bf...lol...another long fur cat, but more fat, with black patches..she is long fur with cream patch....and as I *zhut* them to come over, they race over and fortunately, love the food I gave them.

Tonite abit sad cos today is my last nite in tis hotel with onsen.. :( gg back osaka n visiting kobe tml... last nite in takamatsu, abit sad..but ... yea..money about finish le,time to go home... :)

When i saw nekko on a bicycle, I m so thrilled I m totally cheered up..
I tink I m under the overdosage of effects of cat-socialization.

No la, its jus tt Japan has too little nekko..
Oh, I bought someting from the pet shop and they gave me a cat calender..so sweet!!!
And I bought gifts from the 100yen shop for Pig and mao n mew...
aaah...I miss SINGAPORE....I miss MY CATS...I miss EVERYONE!!!

Phew, after making it safe n sound to japan, its pretty much enjoy life.
I m soakin in onsen everynight..my hotel here is so good...gt provide breakfast, gt free internet, gt a 'personal onsen'..cos everytime no ppl de..keke..
Life is good..
Went hiking today. Climbed up many flights of stairs too see a shrine. some 1hr worth up upwards stairs.... Went up there, 10min later come down liaoz..zzz...
Pretty scenery...fantastic food..
Today I drank their sakae...nt as bad or special as i tot, jus normal lo..

mEow is due to reach osaka by 7pm. But she made it at osaka at 11pm. WHY?
Shit happens.
FACTS:
First of all, yep, reach le den found out that it is 1hr difference in time. Din really think it would matter.
Second Fact, mEow flies to tokyo to transit to osaka.
Third Fact, mEow'knowledge of japanese is only the following:
nekko. arigato. Dozo, dojo. ohaiyo. kombawa.
Forth fact: mEow flies over alone to meet her fren over in osaka.
Ok, there u have it. Sounds simple enuf.
mEow thought so too.
Ok, so when I know about the time difference, when at Tokyo airport when checking in my luggage, i asked the female staff handling my luggage if the time for my flight to osaka is in japan time or singapore time. Cos teh flight is at 530pm. she told me, as i quote her, NOT JAPAN TIME. Place where ticket is issued.
Ok....
So I went to shop ard.
I bought a turtle for Turtle at Tokyo. So turtle's collection of turtles have one from tokyo too. ;)
and then, finally at 5pm, i strolled back to the check in place. I checked the screen..hmm..strange, why is it that they state my flight number sa *DEPARTED*???
Hmm..nevetheless, I managed to check in, so I felt, hmm..ok..no problem. waiting at the boarding area, I finally realised there is no my fligth number. I checked with the coutner women. THEY GAVE ME A SHOCKED LOOK. and muttered to each others in japanese. Soon, they toked to me, and I explained in english I dun speak japanese.
They sent one woman who can speak english pretty well to tell me, as I quote her,"your flight left already. No more flight to osaka itami.".
Strangely, I m surprisingly calm.
"We try get u another flight. but not to itami (osaka)"
oki...so...????
mEow Missed hER FLIGHT! Hurray..
Somehow, the thought that I may haf to spend the night alone in Tokyo does not frighten me. or mayb fear have not set in. lol.
The staff seemed more flustered than I m.
They arranged for me to go to osaka Kobe airport, but , yes the BIG BUT, is that I mus go to i tink, wad, hakana aiport or something, another airport in Tokyo. So, I needa make my own way to the other airport in Tokyo.
CooL!!!
The bus is reasonably easy. it is a direct bus called limo bus to that aiport. But the exciting part is, my flight leave at 820. I needa reach there by 8. and the bus takes 70min to reach. and the bus I m supposed to b one is full, i needa wait the other bus, which sets off at 7pm. COOL!
Anyway, I managed to reach there.
Steppin out from tokyo narita airport, suddenly, i found myself breathing out smoke. COOL! its freaking cold. I m only in one layer of long sleeve with turtle neck. ok... but it is really cool. I called my fren to inform her i b reaching at kobe instead.
When I reach the other aiport in Tokyo, at the counter the person again, look at the hand written paper the staff at narita aiport gave me, and typed furiously on the computer trying to retrieve my data, in vain, and muttered to each other with that really kawaii look and tone.
Finally, they issued my my ticket, and told me, I will be flying to Kansai airport instead. And the flight leaves in, 5min. Cos the one to kobe is full.
zzz....
The nxt ting I know, another lady took my luggage and told me "u mus leave now, plane is flying off". and she ran with my luggage. 9kg, mind u, and in her heels and skirt and all..wow! NV under-estimate japanese women..
As I m waiting to check in, i called my fren and told her of the change. we agreed to meet at osaka instead. and I m to take the limo bus to osaka myself. hmm..nt that tough i tink.
So, finally, my ordeal ended as I got onto the plane...and landed in osaka (kansai aiport) and took the limo bus over and finalyl saw my fren..at 11pm. and we ran after the last train to go to our hostel...at a whopping 12 am...
WOAH!
Wad a misadventure.
Somehow, I managed to spend more time in Tokyo. Maybe, something someone jus wan me to spend more time in Tokyo. So..there I am, havin travelled on the roads of tokyo before. WeeEeee....
Somehow, I feel I m more calm than the aiport staff...u noe, knowing nuts abotu the language, being totally alone, and yet i have no fear at the thought of the possiblity that I may spend the night in tokyo, myself. no fear... I m surprised..mayb my reaction takes time bah..i tink my mum will b more freaked out than I m to know i missed my flight. lol.
So, yep...wad a way to start the day.
Its my about 5th day here. Spend half of my money already.
Explored Kyoto, Nara, Osaka n is now in Takamatsu.
Tried lots of traditional food, and went to their onsen. Traditional way. Full naked and all.. first time in my life see so many naked women..*shy*..but dare nt express it..cos everyone dun even flip their eye, i dun wanna look silly making a big fuss outta notin...its like a norm here..
Seen the big landmarks in Osaka,Nara, Kyoto and nearly gt eaten by the deers in Nara. Saw nekko, everywhere and said mEow to them... :D
Tried their interesting toilet bowl system and enjoyed their use-vending-machine - for-everything- culture.
