It's 1am. I still awake..  =(

Maxie is just as awake as I am.  May it's too much drinks, maybe it's insufficient dinner.  Maybe I m just excited. 

Seeing doc tml and I m 38-39wks.hugh risk of being induced.  Doc these days always seems to induce ppl.. Somehow...

I was always hoping for a spontaneous natural birth so I m not looking forward to being induced.  Plus I m coughing my lungs out for the past few days. 

Anw, if it's tml, so be it.

Today, finally get to do Wad I wanna do for so long since I got pregnant... Try to see if someone gives up their seat to me. 

I m heavily pregnant. Obviously pregnant.  So there is no excuse now.

Hubby go Singtel to get a sim card for his mini2. Person say 5-10min..baah..she means per number bah? So we were waiting...

There was one seat at the crowded waiting area. But I just wanna see if anyone will give their seat to me. I dun really need a seat.. But I more wish to see how it's gonna be like. 

So we went for a walk and was back when the waiting area was filled.  There was a mum, a dad two kids.. Conveniently all punching furiously at their smart phone.  I was standing not more than 1m away. I was coughing... Not deliberate but really coughing bad today.. But nope.. No seats..

After 10min..still no seats. Smartphones r more interesting. Or maybe they did notice but it's not mrt.. Or maybe they notice but conveniently just refused to look up? After all from the corner of ur eye, u can see a woman with a budge Wad..

My little 'experiment' proved me pretty right about the civic mindedness of ppl.

But well, there is something worth mentioning. The promoter there, the blackberry promoter noticed and after 15min,brought me a chair. And we'll after standing for nearly 30min already, the seat is appreciated.

Good service!!  I should write him a complementary letter..  :)

Maybe I will, if I still can't sleep..

But hopefully I will.. Soon..

So Anw, are we there yet? Yea we are, almost.. It's either tml or one more week... I tink it will b tml..

Retained?

Retained have never been quite a good word..

Since young, we do know that being retained is like cannot graduate...

Well I tot I m done with this word. But nah, it's presence once again in adulthood...

Water retention...

Lucky or unluckily, my water retention is in my hands.. It wakes me up at night... When I get as wearing my roller blading wrist guard to keep my wrist straight... 

Apparently it does helps reduce my water retention when I wear the wrist guard but it's so uncomfortable I wake up at night m removed it. 

Then lately, I took it off and use only my heat band... I sleep through the night but I wake with frozen fingers which I can't bend for one hour... Fortunately they warm up  within an hour so I can still drive..

And well, tonight, well, I went to sleep too early bah?  Woke up now and can't get back to lala land..

Such a nice Dream last night... Let me go back to my happy sleep n dream.... 

Jennah is awake n kicking me.. So kinda hard.. But hubby n Maxie are both happily sleeping.. So envious...

Lala land oh lala land.. Grant me the entry to the sleepy land!!!

Sleepless night again

It happens alot more when I m pregnant. I can blame the pregnancy hormones right?

Anyway,  it's great that I m going to the doc.. In all honesty the last time I checked two weeks back, baby is not head down yet.. With just 5weeks more to go.. Paranoid mummy at work once more...

I guess Anw, irritation at work helps keep the mummy unhappy.. Cool n chill... So I really can't wait to just not see her again...

This night, I fell asleep in five minutes after hitting the pillow but walla three hours later I woke to aching fingers which can't bend and a terrific thirst...

I attribute that to the detoxing thing done by my aunt earlier on?  I woke up three times to drink water n since one hour back,.. Din managed to sleep le.. Haiz..

But well other than sleeplessness, aching fingers, going good.

Cross fingers that baby is heading south this Monday.. Else have to spend money look for chiropractic to help le...

Lucky mEow pay back time

I would say I m lucky.. I have said that many times.. Yah.. I am lucky in this pregnancy in that I have almost zero side effects that people talked about...

The closest I got to vomiting was a single vomiting feel.. Twice.. And nope I din throw up anything.. 

But no more... I m starting to feel something.. Still minimal I guess? 

Monday, I woke up to sausage fingers...  The past days leading to Monday was a series of stiff and aching  fingers.. And Monday just nice when I m due to go doc.. I have sausage fingers...

It's so swollen I can't bend and put on my ring...

As usual, doc say well, it's normal.. Water retention... If u are worried I can refer u to the specialist.. But they won't do anything until u give birth.. So basically, it's suck it up as usual..

I feel like docs ain't really good in the studies of pregnancy... They cant really explain pregnancy, why this happen that happen and no solution to the questions except well it's normal, blame the pregnancy hormones.. Yea??

Is is it  a pregnancy hormone that I am feeling really vain these days more than ever... The need to wear nicely, dress pretty?

33weeks and counting

Was thinking of Chinese name for Jennah yesterday. It is harder than we thought... With a Chinese - near-iliterate hubby sitting beside me, I realised that finding a nice character fell solely upon me...

Imagine the stress...

My friends, parents, sister, relatives are all aware of what our little princess name will be, but my shy hubby is shy of telling it to his family.. For fear of them making comments? Since his sister is due soon... With a girl too... So it's like.. Awkward that they are announcing everything  and we are all hush hush...

So anyway, since hubby is Teh..Chinese as Dai, as in wear that Dai. We often joked last time about naming our Wear cap, wear clothes, wear specs... TEH SI, Teh O, Teh Susu...

It ain't funny when I fancied the word熙...
戴熙looks nice.. Sounds nice...  Ain't it?  Since hubby Chinese is not good, and I don't want daddy to not know how to write daughter 's name, we want a single word as her Chinese name.. So 戴熙 is a pretty m good sounding name... Yes?

No.  Convert to English please...  TEH Xi... How is that different from Teh si! The same joked we made... Oh.. No wonder that sounds familiar... Cos we made fun of that name for like egon years...

Saded.  The hunt for name is on...

I flipped through through the whole Chinese dictionary reading words from ah, to zhe... And well, found one pretty nice one...

Hopefully the fortune teller agrees with our choice..

Jennah Teh Le...Sounds like Jennah Taylor doesn't it?  Doesn't matter.. The Chinese looks good too.. 戴樂

Cross fingers my little happiness can adopt this name with the blessing of parents, grandparents n fortune teller...

Sleepless night  again.

Woken by Woofy n the kitties... Can't sleep... So might as well just read some stuff... Write some stuff...

Baby baby jennah. Going to be born soon. I m heavily pregnant at 8months now. But I m only gained 8.5kg so far?  Technically if take into account wad I din lose, I wld have gained only 5.5kg...i lost 3kg since pregnancy then slowly gained it back till current stage..

So far it's been smooth n comfortable.  Nothing big yet.  As in, nothing a big problem. Jennah is a very good girl.

I first found or feel something  in march.. End March to early April... Was moving house so din say anything much... Don't later they gonna say pregnant people cannot this cannot that..

It was quite an adventure having jennah. I remember falling through a chair... I was like standing on a chair.. Old chair at my house and the cushion fell through... With me..

Jennah stayed still like nothing happened. I was moving house and carrying very very heavy stuff... Still jennah stayed happily with us.

So I guess it's meant to be, and indeed, Jennah fast growing and kicking assured me all is fine.

Now is left with the last trimester.. Two more months to go. 

Baby jennah, I have not seen u yet but u sounds perfect to me already.

Indeed... To sleep or not to sleep, that ain't the question. The question is how to make yourself sleep.

I m kinda like awake for two hours.. I can't sleep.

Insomnia is part of pregnancy?? 

Jennah jennah cutie girl... She have nv given me any problems during this pregnancy.. It's very smooth sailing, this lovely girl. No morning sickness, no excessive weight  gain, no pain, no nothing.. She is a lovely angel...  Only problems I have, which is unlikely attributed to her, is my sleep..

Insomnia twice le... Luckily tml is Sunday, I can sleep...

I hope to fall asleep soon....

Time flies

From 31/1/2011 till now august 2013... It's about two years?  I haven been blogging much... But much have changed....

Alot have changed.... 

Minor change, major change. Long time change and recent changes... It is indeed true that the only thing that does not change is Change itself will always be present... No such things that thibg don't change...

For one...  I changed my job, thus changed my car... Rather, I changed my job and it comes with car. Woofy was using my Charcoal but during good times, I sold off charcoal at a nice profit..  CHARCOAL have served me well..  The profit I got back was quite significant and therefore made me have a car for like three years without paying a single cent.

Next up,  I changed my maritial status...  I got married..  That was last year...  4/3/2012... The usual stuff and glad I din bankrupt myself doing my wedding.. Went on a nice holiday to gold coast...  Swam in the great barrier rift... Touched turtle...  And swam with the sharks... Came back alive....

And this year... We moved house!  Our little nest is finally ready! Got the keys earlier this year in January and officially moved in April... It's august now and we have happily settled in... 

And the other major change is.. I m 6months pregnant now with Baby Jennah... Jennah means Heaven... My little piece of heaven hatching within me....  See my little girl in December :)

Last and most recent thing that happened . just last mth on 14 July 2013.... My King maomao waved gd bye to us...

The King was diagnosed with lymphoma in march and underwent chemo treatment for a few Mths.. The cancer cells subsided and I tot he wld be fine. But suddenly he stopped eating...  Dint feel like eating I guess... And doctor had him on supplements  but it was quite useless.. And finally Dr ly saw him on a Sunday.. 14th July and say it's time....  His liver have hardened....  His organs are failing...

It was really difficult but it seems like any more would be putting him in further pain....  So I brought him back to hg...  Everyone hugged him...  And the cat whisperer came along and talked to me about how maomao feels these years... Some stuff he remembers... 

And later that night... Maomao just went off...  We now have him in a little prymaid in our hse...  Love my maomao...

The house is really quiet at night...  With our feline company... It is so lonely... So next following week.. My Woofy look ard and we adopted Maxie...  A little grey black kitty... 

But months on... I still miss my great King... He is the only one who really heals my heart....  Let me hug him.. Knows me and loves me.. I guess I m just not so lucky to have two of such doting cats...  Well.. 

I love my Maomao...

Sleepless night  again.
